The 62nd Ann Arbor Film Festival call for entries wrapped on October 14 with 2,971 films submitted from 92 countries. As the AAFF’s Executive Director, I am always amazed at the high level of creativity that comes through our door each year–and that success has not happened overnight. Our legendary festival has been bending minds since we launched in 1963, thanks to our incredible community of filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and lovers of the extraordinary. The mission of the Ann Arbor Film Festival is to promote bold, visionary filmmakers through the advancement of moving image art, and to engage communities with remarkable cinematic experiences.
