AAFF WINS MT DETROIT'S BEST LOCAL FILM FESTIVAL

After the last prize was awarded at the 55th Ann Arbor Film Festival, the AAFF itself was on the receiving end of a distinguished award: the Detroit Metro Times’ reader’s choice for Best Local Film Festival! The people have spoken and, again, this staple of the MT Best of Detroit Awards series was awarded to the AAFF, who last won the award in 2014.

The work of many, many people makes the Festival happen. We are grateful to all of our staff, volunteers, filmmakers, members, supporters and attendees. The AAFF is honored to receive this award, which is a reflection of the love, dedication and hard work of our Festival community!

As a world-class cultural icon, our 55-year-old Festival draws regional, national and international visitors to Ann Arbor each year.
