We are excited to welcome Vicki Joling as the new Deputy Director of the Ann Arbor Film Festival (AAFF)! With a strong background in development, fundraising, and organizational management, Vicki brings a wealth of experience that will enhance our festival’s impact and reach.
Vicki’s impressive career spans both nonprofit and corporate sectors. Most recently, as Executive Director at Ann Arbor’s Main Street Area Association, she excelled in organizing events, managing marketing efforts, and securing key sponsorships. Her strategic skills and hands-on experience will be invaluable to AAFF.
At Ann Arbor SPARK, Vicki played a crucial role in program development and event logistics as Director of a2Tech360, where she managed budgets, built community partnerships, and more. Her past roles at The Henry Ford and Destination DC further highlight her expertise in cultivating valuable partnerships and driving revenue.
What sets Vicki apart is not just her impressive resume, but her clear understanding of the crucial role arts and culture play in our community. She has deep-rooted connections to Ann Arbor, and we look forward to her bringing fresh energy and innovative strategies to enhance our ability to support and celebrate experimental and avant-garde cinema.
