Walk Right In has been rescheduled for Friday, September 10th at 7:30pm!
Another AAFF tradition returns on September 10th - Walk Right In is an open-to-all backyard event hosted by longtime AAFF supporters, Lou and Francis Glorie. Walk Right In has historically celebrated the AAFF with food and a short collection of festival films from earlier that year. This year, we are additionally celebrating a return to communal film viewing!
“We are so proud of the last two Ann Arbor Film Festivals and the way we led the charge to move into the online environment, but there really is nothing like experiencing the projected image alongside your community, enjoying the art in the moment, together,” - Leslie Raymond, AAFF Festival Director
So bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, and your best friends along! Walk Right in is Friday, September 10th (Rain Date: September 12th). We will begin at 7:30, but you are welcome to stop by at any time! A selection of short films from the 59th AAFF will screen at 9pm. This event is FREE and we are encouraging a $5 donation to the AAFF at the door.
Although there is no longer a statewide requirement to wear a mask in most settings, get tested if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated guests. We will have a Community Safety Check In at the door to ensure a vaccination or a recent negative COVID test.
Food for Walk Right In will be provided. We will also be holding a raffle for new and current subscribers to our eNewsletter. Come and join us as we celebrate the summer!
