Celebrate Film, Community, and Creativity at AAFF’s 2026 Annual Fundraiser

The Ann Arbor Film Festival will be hosting our annual fundraiser on Monday, February 23, 2026, immediately following our Sneak Preview of the 64th AAFF. This special evening brings together filmmakers, artists, and AAFF supporters for a first look at the upcoming festival—and a powerful opportunity to directly sustain AAFF’s mission.

The night begins at 5:30pm at the historic Michigan Theater with an exclusive Sneak Preview screening of selected works from the 64th Ann Arbor Film Festival. This program offers an early glimpse into the experimental, innovative, and artist-driven films that define AAFF as the longest-running experimental film festival in the world. 

After the screening, join us from 7:00–9:00pm at Aventura for drinks and hors d’oeuvres in a lively, celebratory setting just steps away from the theater. This year’s fundraiser also commemorates a milestone: 25 years of Out Night at the Ann Arbor Film Festival. We will raise a toast to Martin Contreras and Keith Orr, longtime supporters of AAFF and the \aut\ FILM Award for Best LGBTQ+ Film.

Ticket Levels & Support Opportunities

Fundraiser tickets are offered at several levels, allowing guests to choose how deeply they would like to support the festival. All ticket levels include one admission to the Sneak Preview at the Michigan Theater and the fundraiser at Aventura. Guests at the levels marked with an asterisk will also be acknowledged on a supporter poster at the event.

Each ticket purchased directly supports the 64th Ann Arbor Film Festival, taking place March 24–29, 2026, with Awards Programs online March 30–April 13. Your contribution helps fund the year-round work that ensures AAFF remains a vital platform for bold, boundary-pushing cinema.
