FILMMAKER INTERVIEW: IRINA PATKANIAN

At the last Festival, Irina Patkanian sat down with us to discuss the debut of her film Socrates of Kamchatka, and the timely parable it conveys about the recent Russian socio-political history.

Irina also had kind words for the Festival: "I've heard so much about this Festival, even when I was studying in Iowa and then New York...I've always felt that this is the Festival that most of all celebrates the art of film...it's always been a Festival that celebrates complexity"
