WELCOME TIM HARKINS!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new Operations Manager, Tim Harkins. In this role, Tim will manage Festival operations and planning as well as the touring program. He looks forward to continuing his work with the Festival community.

Tim comes to us from Chicago with over 10 years of experience in arts production and programming. Most recently, Tim worked with the Chicago Humanities Festival producing a three-week multidisciplinary arts and culture festival. Previously, he worked for eight years as the Production Manager at the Old Town School of Folk Music, where he produced a year-round performance series and summer festival. His former festival experience also includes Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival and Evanston Ethnic Arts Festival. He graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Arts Administration.

AAFF Program Director David Dinnell is no longer with us, and we wish him well as he continues to do excellent work in the world of film.

Ellie White has also moved on from AAFF Operations Director to attend the acclaimed culinary arts program at Schoolcraft College.
