WELCOME LESLIE RAYMOND, AAFF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The AAFF is pleased to welcome Leslie Raymond to Ann Arbor as the festival's new Executive Director. Leslie has been associated with the Ann Arbor Film Festival for over twenty years, as a member of the screening committee in the 1990s, as well as organizing several multi-media exhibitions and programs of video and expanded cinema and in the late 1990s and early 2000’s. In recent years she has participated as a panelist and member of the AAFF Advisory Board. Her own film, video and installation work (including her collaboration with Jason Jay Stevens as Potter-Belmar Labs) has been exhibited in numerous editions of the AAFF since 1995.

Leslie received her BFA in film-video from the Rhode Island School of Design and MFA from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design. She founded a New Media Program in studio art at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and recently earned an Innovations in Teaching award at Oakland University where she gave lessons in digital, video and new media art.
