An AAFF internship provides excellent real-world experience in the fast-paced (at times) film festival industry. It is a great resume builder and we provide recommendations for our interns. Our office environment is hard-working, but fun and laid back, often with music and/or movies in the room.

Past AAFF intern Fahim Rahman rated his internship as "a truly singular educational experience", and intern Kyle Stefek said, “I’m so grateful for my time at the Ann Arbor Film Festival and would encourage anybody I know to intern here, as well. The people I met were so friendly and helpful—I think this internship gave me so much more than just a bullet point on my resume.”

To apply, please email your resume and cover letter to Tim Harkins at tim@aafilmfest.org. Applicants may express an interest in more than one internship.

***Please note we only offer unpaid internships at this time. We have more applicants than positions available, so not everyone will be placed***
