At the last Festival, Irina Patkanian sat down with us to discuss the debut of her film Socrates of Kamchatka, and the timely parable it conveys about the recent Russian socio-political history. A Word from our Executive Director In December our process of reviewing 3,000 film submissions draws to a close. In the end, just 3-4% of those films will make it to the silver screen in the main auditorium of the beautiful Michigan Theater.
