WELCOME TO THE NEW WEBSITE

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, Festival fans! After a year of hard work, we are proud to launch our new and improved Ann Arbor Film Festival website. The new site wouldn't have been possible without the folks at Bauer Dunham & Barr; many thanks to them for designing an organized and contemporary site that accurately reflects the AAFF in its evolution over time. You can expect the usual exciting blog content and updates as we move towards the 55th Festival. We encourage you to take a look around, see the site, and get cozy as we say goodbye to our old internet home in favor of this beautiful new one!

The Associate Director of Programs must be able to bring moving image art communities together to think about how the AAFF should represent them in its programs in the future. The Associate Director of Programs is respon

The film, a 16mm snapshot of Rivers' travels to the remote and beautiful sub-tropical island of Vanuatu, had its first public screening at the 54th AAFF. Congratulations, Ben!

MCACA GRANT MAKES FUTURE FESTIVALS POSSIBLE

Last September, the AAFF was awarded a Capital Improvements Grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA). The funds were used to purchase a digital playback system for the exhibition of digital video files at the Festival, new digital storage backup to house AAFF business information and records, and updates for the IT infrastructure, which had reached capacity and was in need of improvement. The digital playback equipment has been obtained and tested and is now ready for use at the 55th AAFF in March 2017. The Festival’s legacy and strong international reputation for exhibiting contemporary, culturally significant and thoughtful moving image artwork relies on its ab
