The Call for Entries is now open for the 52nd Ann Arbor Film Festival! The AAFF provides at least $20,000 in cash and film stock/services to more than 20 filmmakers, serves as a qualifying festival for Academy Award® nomination in the short film category and provides touring opportunities for select filmmakers. 51ST AAFF VIMEO AUDIENCE AWARD WINNERS

The 51st Ann Arbor Film Festival audience ballots have been sorted and tabulated and we are very pleased to announce that the Vimeo Audience Awards ($500 each) go to Sam Easterson for Burrow-Cams and Mike Hoolboom for Buffalo Death Mask. Sam Easterson’s Burrow-Cams (3 min, 2012) features footage from cameras that have been placed inside underground animal habitats. Easterson is based in Hartford, CT and his videos have been included in the Whitney Biennial, dOCUMENTA (13), and the New Museum of Contemporary Art among many other venues.
